Meet GrillingGrandma, Merry Graham

Chopped Champion, Merry Graham, is teaching families how to cook anything on the bbq and grill!

Chef Merry Graham, as seen on Chopped, Season 53

Merry Graham is the Grilling Grandma everyone needs! Her passion to inspire and teach children and adults the art of grilling, smoking, and BBQ is priceless. Spend an afternoon in the fire arena with her and will learn all about balancing the flavor in a dish, what wood chips to use, to marinade or not, and when to use a gas grill, an infrared grill, or a smoking ceramic grill.

Merry lives a deliciously smoky life in California with her husband of 44 years. They love to prepare feasts for their 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren, and a plethora of hungry friends and neighbors. Smoking Hugs from Grilling Grandma!

My Kitchen

My kitchen is my art studio! I love using ingredients to create culinary masterpieces as a painter uses paints on a canvas. When developing a recipe I focus on balance of layered flavor and inviting colors.

My friends have been my teachers! I love to expand my kitchen skills and tastes by cooking alongside pitmasters and home cooks! And hey, I am a grill master and home cook who isn’t afraid to step into the competition galley with the professionals.
